At the beginning of her freshman year, Alyssa asked if she could join the cheer team. However, she also wanted to do choir and play production. So we told her if she kept her grades up doing choir and PP, then her sophomore year we would let her add in cheer. Well, she kept up her end of the bargain, so we had to keep ours. She tried out for the cheer team, made it, and headed off to cheer camp with the rest of the team. The last day was a competition, and the families were invited to come watch.

The girls took home 4 or 5 first place trophies, and numerous ribbons. They excelled beyond what they even thought possible! Proof positive that hard work pays off, because they worked HARD at camp!
Yes, they were VERY excited!
